A challenge for the sustainable development of Nova Scotia’s coastal areas is the lack of readily accessible information on the province’s infrastructure and support services. While most of this information exists in various forms and locations, it takes considerable amounts of effort to consolidate and package the data into usable information.
Our single-platform information system shows important land-based infrastructure to support decision-making for Nova Scotia’s business owners and government.
Priority information layers were determined in consultation with industry, and other layers will continue to be added and updated.
