Readily accessible information on the province’s infrastructure and service support is necessary for the sustainable development of Nova Scotia’s coastal areas.
While most of this information exists in various forms and locations, it takes considerable effort to consolidate and package this data into usable information.
This single-platform information system shows the location of critical land-based infrastructure vital for business and government decision-making. Priority information layers were determined by research and consultation with industry.
The project is funded by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).
